Most screen printing and embroidery orders take about two weeks after your final order details and artwork proof are approved. Timing can be shorter or longer depending on the season, product availability, and our production schedule. Promotional products, specialty items, and larger projects may have different timelines. Shipping time is in addition to production time.

If you have an in-hands date, tell us when you request your quote so we can plan production and shipping around it. Rush orders are often possible; see our FAQ for details.

• Shop pickup: pick up your order at our shop at 755 Fiero Ln., Ste. A, San Luis Obispo. We'll let you know when it's ready.
• Free local delivery: available in our local delivery area. Contact us to confirm your location is covered.
• Shipping: we ship nationwide and internationally, usually by UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Shipping charges are quoted separately and depend on the destination, weight, and service you choose. Delivery time depends on the carrier and service, so if you have a firm deadline, let us know early.

Once your order ships, we'll send tracking information. For fulfillment programs and web stores, shipping methods and charges are set up as part of your program.

Please open and check your order as soon as it arrives, and contact us right away if something isn't right, ideally within two to three days of delivery. We stand behind our work. Confirmed printing errors or defective garments are removed from your invoice, or credited if you've already paid, and we'll review the issue with you and explain the next steps. If a shipment arrives damaged, please keep the box and packaging and send us photos so we can file a claim with the carrier.

Because every custom order is made specifically for you, custom merchandise is generally not returnable or refundable. This includes items ordered in the wrong size or quantity, and items that match the proof you approved.

The best way to get exactly what you want is to check everything before production:

• Try samples. Blank samples are available in our showroom, and loaner or purchased samples are available for checking fit and color. Purchased samples can often be included in your production order.
• Review your proof carefully. Check spelling, artwork, colors, sizes, quantities, and placement before you approve. Your approval is what we produce. See our Artwork Guidelines for what to look for.

If you need to change or cancel an order after approval, contact us as soon as possible. Once products have been ordered or production has started, you'll be responsible for costs already incurred, such as artwork or digitizing work, screen preparation, return shipping, and supplier restocking fees.

Items bought through a team, school, or company web store we run are also made to order and follow these custom order terms, unless that store's page says otherwise.

Custom Closeouts are packages of leftover goods from custom orders, sold in our online shop. They follow these custom order terms: all closeout sales are final, and they don't qualify for free shipping. Shipping costs are shown at checkout, and free local pickup is available.

Our Left Coast Originals collection is made up of limited-edition retail releases that follow the shipping and return terms below.

• Orders are usually processed within 1 to 2 business days, and most ship the next business day. We ship Monday through Friday, except major holidays.
• U.S. orders ship by USPS or UPS Ground Saver, with tracking. You'll get tracking details by email once your order ships.
• Estimated delivery: about 2 to 3 business days within California, 3 to 5 business days elsewhere in the U.S., and 1 to 2 weeks for most international orders. These are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays can happen.
• Free standard shipping on U.S. Left Coast Originals orders of $75 or more. Other shipping options and costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Free local pickup: choose "Pickup" at checkout and collect your order at our shop, 755 Fiero Ln., Ste. A, San Luis Obispo, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and we'll email you when yours is ready.

We ship to many countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, and Germany. If your country isn't offered at checkout, contact us and we'll see what we can do. International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees charged on delivery.

Not happy with your shirt? Let us know. You may return new, unworn, and unwashed items within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or a refund.

• Refunds are for the item price, less any shipping you paid.
• Exchanges: you pay to send the item back, and we pay to ship the replacement to you.
• Gift cards, final sale items, promotional items, and worn, washed, or soiled items can't be returned or exchanged.

How to return or exchange: send us a message through our contact form with your order number and whether you'd like an exchange or refund. Then ship the item, using any service you like (USPS First Class is usually the least expensive), to:

We'll email you once your return is processed. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually arrive within about two weeks of when you send the item, counting transit time to us, 1 to 2 business days for us to process it, and 2 to 5 business days for your bank.

• Damaged: contact us within 72 hours of delivery and keep all of the packaging. We may ask you to send the item back so we can verify the damage, and then we'll make it right.
• Lost: if your order hasn't arrived 24 days after it shipped (longer for international orders), contact us and we'll help track it down or file a claim.
• If packages are often left unattended where you live, ask us for signature-required delivery before your order ships.
