Frequently Asked Questions

Every project is a little different. Here are answers to some common questions to help you get started. If you have something specific in mind, reach out—we’re happy to talk through the options.

Ordering & Timing

Contact us with an idea of what you need, your approximate quantity, and any deadline you’re working toward. If you have artwork, send it along. If you’re still exploring products or designs, we can help you narrow the choices and put together a quote.

You’re also welcome to visit our showroom to see samples and discuss your project in person.

We’ll help you select products, confirm quantities and sizes, and prepare your invoice and artwork proof for approval.

Please review everything carefully before approving. Invoice approval allows us to order your products, while artwork approval allows us to begin production preparation, such as making screens or digitizing embroidery.

Most custom apparel orders start at around 24 pieces, although minimums can vary with the products, artwork, decoration method, and production schedule.

More complex screenprinted designs generally require larger quantities. For smaller orders with detailed or multicolor artwork, digital printing may be a better fit. Embroidery minimums can also vary depending on the items and project.

Promotional product minimums depend on the product and supplier. Tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll help you explore the options.

Most screenprinting and embroidery orders take approximately two weeks after final order details and artwork are approved. Timing can be shorter or longer depending on the season, product availability, and our production schedule.

Shipping time is additional. If you have a specific in-hands date, let us know when you request your quote so we can plan accordingly.

Promotional products, specialty services, and more involved projects may have different timelines.

Often, yes. Rush availability depends on the products, artwork, and our schedule.

When we can fit your order into production without overtime or expedited shipping, we’re happy to accommodate a shorter turnaround at no additional charge. If extra costs are necessary, we’ll discuss them with you before proceeding.

Payment is generally required upfront. Other payment arrangements may be available for qualifying customers or established accounts. We’ll confirm the terms for your order before moving forward.

Contact us as soon as possible. What we can change depends on how far your order has progressed.

We typically begin work once approvals are received. If products have been ordered or production preparation has started, you’ll be responsible for costs already incurred. These may include artwork or digitizing work, screen preparation, return shipping, and supplier restocking fees.

Reviewing garment selections, sizes, quantities, spelling, and artwork carefully before approval helps avoid unnecessary costs and delays.

Pricing & Quantities

Pricing depends on the products, quantity, artwork, decoration method, and number of locations being decorated. Screenprinted pricing also depends on the number of ink colors, while embroidery pricing is influenced by stitch count and design requirements.

Share your budget with us early, and we can recommend options that make the most of it.

Generally, the more pieces produced together, the lower the cost per item. Combining your needs into one order can be more economical than placing several smaller orders.

If you order regularly or are planning an ongoing merchandise program, talk with us about your needs.

Usually, yes. Different sizes and compatible garment styles can often be combined toward quantity pricing when they use the same design, decoration size, and ink colors.

Some fabrics require different inks or production methods, which can affect how items are grouped. For embroidery, hats and flat items such as polos or jackets may require different setups or digitized files.

We’ll review your selections and explain the best way to organize the order.

We do not charge separate screenprinting setup or screen fees on standard orders. Your quote will outline the cost of your project and any additional services.

New embroidery designs generally require a one-time digitizing fee to create the stitch file used by our machines.

Reorders using the same existing file do not incur another digitizing fee. Changes in design size, garment type, or artwork may require adjustments or a new file, which we’ll discuss with you.

Your first hour of professional design work is included with your order.

Additional artwork time is billed at $75 per hour, with a $40 minimum charge and 15-minute billing increments thereafter. If your project needs work beyond the included hour, we’ll explain the additional cost before proceeding.

It depends on the design, quantity, products, and placement. Screenprinting is often economical for larger runs, while embroidery can be a good choice for smaller logos on hats, polos, jackets, and other items.

We’ll help you compare suitable options for the look and budget you have in mind.

Artwork & Products

No. We can work from an existing logo, a rough sketch, reference material, or an idea you’d like help developing.

If you have finished artwork, send the original files whenever possible. Visit our Artwork Guidelines page for helpful information about file formats, resolution, and preparing your design.

Yes. You’ll receive an artwork proof for review before production begins.

Check spelling, design details, colors, dimensions, and placement carefully. If changes are needed, send them together in one clear list so we can revise the proof efficiently.

We have access to thousands of apparel and promotional product options, from everyday tees and employee uniforms to premium outerwear, bags, drinkware, and specialty items.

The catalogs on our website show only part of the selection. If you’re looking for something specific, ask—we can help find products that fit your needs.

We usually do not accept customer-provided goods, but we can sometimes make exceptions depending on the items and project.

Products purchased at retail may not be suitable for decoration. Some fabrics and dyes react unpredictably to ink, embroidery, or production heat, and testing may use or damage an item.

When we agree to decorate customer-supplied goods, the customer accepts the risk of damage or spoilage. We do not replace or reimburse those items. Please discuss your products with us before purchasing or bringing them in.

Yes. You can view available blank samples in our showroom, and loan samples may be available for checking fit or sharing with your team.

If we don’t have the item you need, samples can usually be purchased. Purchased samples can often be included in your final production order.

Our standard process uses artwork proofs rather than individually decorated samples. Physical decorated samples may be available for certain projects when necessary. Contact us to discuss availability, timing, and cost.

We offer custom ink color matching and a wide selection of embroidery thread colors. If you have a Pantone reference or brand guidelines, send them with your artwork.

Matching options depend on the material and decoration method, and additional charges may apply. We’ll help you choose the best approach.

Yes. Along with screenprinting and embroidery, we offer options such as patches, appliqué, specialty inks, custom labels, and finishing services.

We can also help with hang tags, folding, bagging, and preparing merchandise for retail or distribution. Availability depends on the products and project, so let us know what you’re looking to create.

Absolutely. We retain artwork to make future orders easier, and there are no repeat screenprinting setup fees or digitizing fees when an existing embroidery file can be reused as-is.

Normal minimums apply, and pricing is based on your new order’s products and quantity. Let us know if anything needs to change from the previous run.
